The club have announced the signings of experienced duo Thabiso Semenya and Davies Nkausu to help solidify their rearguard.
Bakgaga, who are second from bottom on the Absa Premiership standings, have conceded 10 goals in as many matches and will be hoping that the new members of their team will help them improve at the back.
Semenya parted ways with Polokwane City at the end of June when his contract expired, after the club decided against giving him a new deal. He went on trial with Limpopo side Black Leopards, but management did not offer him a contract, despite coach Joel Masutha wanting to have the defender on board.
The 36-year-old Semenya still has a lot to offer, having missed just four league matches in the previous two seasons.
Nkausu, meanwhile, will be delighted to work with coach and Zambian compatriot Wedson Nyirenda, who has overseen just one victory in the side’s first 10 matches.
Nkausu, a former SuperSport United man and Africa Cup of Nations winner, can play in any position at the back.
