The highly-rated Burundi international, who was part of the team that played Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League recently, signed a six-month deal with Sports in January, though with an option to renew at the end of the season.
According to a reliable source within the Rwandan side, negotiations between the club and Bakgaga for the 27-year-old player are at an advanced stage.
"We have demands for Tchabalala, one of our players. But the two clubs prefer that negotiations are done quietly. I know only one team interested in South Africa and that's Baroka," the source told KickOff.com.
Asked for a comment on the matter, Baroka CEO Morgan Mammila denied any knowledge of the player.
"Who's Tchabalala? I don't even know who you are talking about. I don't know him," Mammila said.
