Reports suggest that the Brave Warriors' 2017 Afcon qualifiers against Swaziland were targeted, as well as a number of PSL matches, with the likes of Ian Gorowa, Edzai Kasinauyo, George Chigova and Partson Jaure among those mentioned in a newspaper report.

The PSL have indicated they will press ahead with charges, and now SAFA and ZIFA have met to discuss the allegations.

"Basically they [SAFA] have handed the matter to the Hawks," ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa said. "The disciplinary committee is dispatching charge sheets to the accused before the weekend and in Zimbabwe the police have everything now.

"We will pursue normal football procedures in accordance with the judicial bodies of our federations."
