Worst Foreign Striker – Kabanga Tshamala (No. 28)

Number 29 - Serge Djiehoua

28 - Kabanga Tshamala (Orlando Pirates)

Congolese footballer Tshamala was a teenager when he signed for Orlando Pirates in 2003 after being spotted in the Vodacom Challenge while turning out for TP Mazembe.

Four starts, two substitutes appearances and one goal scored against Wits University was all he had to his name during the single season that he spent with The Bucs.

Tshamala was then immediately shipped out to Vietnamese club Song Da Nam Dinh.

Those in his camp will want to argue that neither Roy Barreto nor Augusto Palacios gave him enough of a chance to prove his worth but if he was anything above average one of the two coaches would have taken notice of that and played him more often.

Of course he did look decent from a distance but on a closer look he appeared out of touch with the demands of the PSL, especially at a club like Pirates. Maybe he was still way too young seeing he was still a teenager.

He is thought to be still playing in Vietnam.
