Chippa United midfielder Thabo Rakhale's future with the Chilli Boys remains uncertain, with a new contract yet to be signed.

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning he is free to sign a pre-contract with any other team.

But despite being presented with a new offer, he has not yet put pen to paper, increasing speculation that he might be on his way out at the end of the season.

According to a source close to the Chilli Boys, Rakhale still has some outstanding issues to sort out with the management before he commits his future to the club.

"The boy is ready to sign but there are outstanding issues still not sorted out," the source tells KickOff.com.

"I can't disclose the issues because it's confidential."

"The player is still under contract with Chippa United."
