Why Hlatshwayo is not in Bafana squad

As this website reported on October 16, the Bidvest Wits defender picked up a yellow card in the match against Congo on October 15 in Polokwane, which was his second of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

Hlatshwayo got his first yellow card when Bafana beat Sudan 3-0 on September 5 at El Merriekh Stadium in Khartoum and a second yellow card means, as per CAF’s rules, that he is suspended for one match.

As a result, Bafana coach Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba was forced to leave him out of the squad.
