Premiership

Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport have given an explanation why the club's television show KCTV is no longer aired on the pay channel.

The show, which was available on SS4, was broadcast across the continent with players interviews, lifestyle features and the chairman's monthly update forming part of its content.

The popular show used to air on the last Thursday of every month.

According to the club, and the pay TV station, the show is only undergoing restructuring and will be back on the small screen soon.

"Unfortunately Kaizer Chiefs are reviewing their current show," Mohammed Wadee, who schedules the programmes at SuperSport, tells KickOff.com.

"They are looking for new ways of improving their show and they will only give a final answer on the new date of the show end of November. So they are currently trying out the new concept and busy with something else... reviewing of the old show.

"So once they confirm to SuperSport, we will broadcast it. But until then we are waiting on an answer from Kaizer Chiefs themselves. It's been off air since the start of the season."
