However, Saintfiet says he has a good squad to compete against the Mighty Buccaneers in Soweto tomorrow.
"It's a big game. The coaches and players love these kind of games," Saintfiet tells KickOff.com.
"We have a few injuries to some of our key players but I am not worried because I have a competitive squad and we are ready to face Pirates in Johannesburg tomorrow.
"Pirates are favourites in this game, they have a number of quality players, they have a better budget than us, but we will go out there and battle for the three points. We want the three points but still a point away from home will not be a bad result for us."
Th Ea Lla Koto coach confirmed that Mabunda is still to pass a late fitness test after his injury in Pretoria last week.
"He is a very good player that we need in big games like Pirates. Unfortunately he got injured when he played for the reserve team last week and is still to undergo a late fitness test," adds the Belgian coach.
