Bucs star player risks missing Derby


Tickets for the much-awaited league game between Highlands Park and Orlando Pirates in Tembisa tonight are sold out.

This is the second time in the space of two days that PSL match tickets are scarce after the country witnessed another sold-out affair involving Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs played at Loftus Stadium on Sunday.

In addition, tickets for the Telkom Knockout quarterfinal between Chiefs and Orlando Pirates set for Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday are already sold out.

The Mighty Buccaneers, who have only tasted victory twice in the league this season, are expected to welcome back defender Happy Jele to the starting line-up at Makhulong Stadium tonight (19h30).

Jele missed the1-0 league defeat to Stellenbosch in Cape Town on Saturday due to suspension.

However, of concern to Bucs fans is that attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch will miss the Soweto Derby this weekend if he picks up a booking against the Lions of the North. Lorch is sitting on three yellow cards.
