Teko backing for Bafana

Bafana will seek to topple the Group A leaders, who are two points richer following victories over continental champions Nigeria and Sudan.

Shakes Mashaba's men beat Sudan 3-0 before drawing 0-0 with Nigeria in Cape Town last month.

Modise, who boasts 66 international caps, told his official website: “I wish the boys all the luck and I know that they will play to the best of their ability. The country believes in them and so do I.

“They look promising and have already made a good start by defeating Sudan and drawing against Nigeria. With the correct attitude and determination, we should see a winning Bafana side.”

Meanwhile, Modise said Downs will not take their foot off the pedal during the international break.

“We will not be resting at all. It is a time for us to really train hard in order to improve on the good run that we have started building in the League. There is also the Telkom Knockout that we need to prepare for.”
