KickOff.com can confirm that Swallows FC has finally reached an important agreement with Brandon 'Brakkies' Truter two weeks after his sacking.
Truter was shown the door following the club’s defeat to Kaizer Chiefs on November 28 following weeks of struggles and has since been replaced by Dylan Kerr.
The sacking had been expected with Truter having been placed on special leave in August with Simo Dladla left in charge before being brought back with a warning of drastic changes if results didn’t improve.

At the time of Truter’s sacking the club had won once in 12 games, which was a drop considering the highs they reached last season on their way to a sixth-place finish in their first season back in the PSL after winning promotion from the first division.
This website can now confirm that after negotiations an agreement was reached on Friday with the conclusion of the settlement then done yesterday after all concerned parties signed on the documents.
Swallows are now due to make payments before the end of the month to seal the separation.
Truter was in his first PSL coaching job at Swallows after guiding the club to promotion.
He won the DStv Premiership coach of the month twice as The Birds flew last season through their long list of draws stretching up to 20 put dents on their run.
This season the writing has been on the wall that he would be sacked with management having evidently lost confidence in him while the friction with those that he worked with daily didn’t help his cause as well.
Simo Dladla and Kamaal Sait remain in negotiation with the club as well.
Truter has already been linked with the Chippa United job where Kurt Lentjies is the caretaker boss.
