Swallows decide Ngele, Mayambela fate

DStv Premiership side Swallows FC have reportedly made a decision on prospective signings Mogakolodi Ngele and Mark Mayambela.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Ngele has been training with Swallows for the past few weeks alongside Mark Mayambela and George Lebese.

The Dube Birds have recently been aggressive in the transfer market by recruiting Mwape Musonda, Monnapule Saleng, Austine Muwowo, Yagman Sasman and Khethukuthula Ndlovu.

Despite impressing the coach, Brandon Trutter, Swallows decided against adding both Mayambela Ngele to their squad.

"They did well. They were impressive during the friendly games, but unfortunately, they couldn't sign," a source tells KickOff.

"It was an issue of budget and that's the reason they couldn't sign."

Swallows FC will face Orlando Pirates in an MTN8 quarter-final clash on August 14.
