Swallows eye Ngcobo replacement

A Swallows FC target has arrived in the country to begin an assessment at the club with the hope of securing a permanent deal.

Rethabile Rasenthutsa plays for Premier Division outfit Linare FC in Lesotho, coached by Orlando Pirates legend Teboho Moloi.

Swallows see the defender as a potential replacement for Njabulo Ngcobo, who departed in a high-profile transfer to Kaizer Chiefs.

Speaking exclusively to KickOff, Swallows FC CEO Sipho Xulu confirmed the player's arrival.

"He arrived on Thursday, and we are still assessing him, but perhaps his assessment is still set to take place.

"We still need to provide him with a training kit, which means he has not yet started training."
