Striker Daniel Gozar is set to seal a loan move to Black Leopards as Swallows FC begin off-loading players deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the new season.
The Ghanian, whose one-year option was recently activated by the Dube Birds, is joining the GladAfrica Championship outfit - relegated from the DStv Premiership - on a season-long loan deal.
The Dube Birds have made several additions in preparation for the 2021/2022 campaign and have now started off-loading unwanted players.
The 27-year-old had a season to forget at Swallows last season after joining from Free State Stars.
Gozar scored just a solitary goal in 11 appearances that has resulted in him now being shown the exit door.
"Yes, it's true, but we are loaning him to Black Leopards, but at this stage, we haven't signed anything yet with Leopards," Swallows CEO Sipho Xulu tells KickOff.
"But yes, he's there because we have the intention of loaning him to Black Leopards. I'm not really sure when is he leaving. The talks are still in the early stages.
"Until everything is confirmed the intention remains to loan him to Black Leopards.
"So at this moment, there's just an intention of loaning him to Black Leopards, and the two clubs are talking."
