Mkhabela has spent the past two months on the sidelines whilst still nursing his injury, watching from the stands and unable to participate in either matches or practice sessions with his team mates.
However the Mpumalanga-born midfielder enjoyed his first full-time training of the season with Matsatsantsa today after completing his rehabilitation.
Club coach Gordon Igesund confirmed that Mkhabela had returned to the fold after a long lay-off.
"It was the first time today attending a full training session with the rest of the team," Igesund tells KickOff.com regarding Mkhabela’s progress.
Mkhabela will unlikely be match fit in time for SuperSport’s next League outing against the University of Pretoria on Saturday afternoon.
