Igesund, a four-time PSL winner, has guided United to five victories out of six games in all competitions since taking over the reins from the sacked Cavin Johnson in September.
“I’m happy with what we have been able to produce in the last games we have played under him [Igesund],” Moloi told his club's official website.
"He has had a positive impact in the changeroom and we as the players are responding well. So hats go off to him.”
Matsatsantsa next take on Ajax Cape Town in the Absa Premiership at Cape Town Stadium on Sunday, having edged Bidvest Wits in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals last time out.
“We looked at this last win as kind of the final before the final,” Moloi said.
“You play in a place like Bidvest Stadium and you come out with a win – that’s exactly what you want to do when you’re at this stage.
“So it definitely gives us a little momentum as we look forward to our league match with Ajax this weekend.”
Igesund's side are 10th on the table with 12 points from nine matches - five points behind second-placed Ajax.
