Robinson is in the country as part of Sunderland’s football partnership with the Clever Boys, delivering coaching sessions to the Under-21s and sharing coaching methodologies with the training staff.

Wits are owned by Sunderland’s principal partner, the Bidvest Group, and the two clubs are working together on a regular basis, sharing coaching and business expertise.

Graham met with Wits’ head coach Ashley Makhanya and head of academy affairs Glen Salmon before delivering a possessions sessions with the Under-21s.

“The players responded well to the training and are technically very good, going forward the players will be concentrating more on their passing and working on their body shape when receiving the ball,” Graham said.

“We work very closely with Bidvest Wits for the benefit of both clubs and often share ideas. Myself and Seth Fairfield analysed the session and believe it went very well and I can see improvements in the players since my last visit.”

As part of the partnership between the two clubs, Graham visits the Clever Boys four times a year to assist with their on-going youth development programme.
