Sukazi responds to Msimango, Chiefs links

TS Galaxy FC boss Tim Sukazi has responded to rumours linking club captain Given Msimango with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

The latest reports Amakhosi are one of the clubs interested in the defender and have already approached The Rockets.

The Glamour Boys are on a spending spree as they look to bring back the smile on their supporters' faces.

But according to Sukazi, though he is open to giving the player his blessings to search for greener pastures elsewhere, no offer has been made by the Naturena-based side.

"We have received no offer from Kaizer Chiefs, we have received no offer from anyone," Sukazi tells KickOff.

"I have already made it clear that if there's a club interested in one of our players no problem.

"Those that are interested they've come forward they took Kwem (Augustine Chidi), they took Brooks (Ethan) that's fine you know, that's how it works."

The 25-year-old centre-back played a crucial role in saving the Mpumalanga province club from relegation last season featuring 19 times in all competitions, even scoring one goal.

Meanwhile, this publication understands Galaxy are planning to register the iconic Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga Stadium as their second home ground for the 2022/23 Season, that is if the refurbishment is completed on time.
