Steve Lekoelea explains to Ghanaian star Richard Ofori why he should join Orlando Pirates instead of Mamelodi Sundowns next season.
The Ghana international goalkeeper is on the books of Maritzburg United and recently extended his contract with the Team of Choice by a further year.
However, despite extending his contract, United will not be shy to cash in on his sale before his contract expires next year.
Both Pirates and Sundowns are reported to be chasing his services, with his Black Stars understudy Felix Annan already linked with a move to Maritzburg to replace him.
Lekoelea believes Ofori would face tough competition if he signs for The Brazilians next season and should instead speak to Irvin Khoza about a job.
"I will advise him to join Pirates. At Sundowns he will face tough competition," the former Buccaneers midfielder tells KickOff.com.
"There are lots of good goalkeepers there. There is [Denis] Onyango and [Kennedy] Mweene there. Where is he going to play?
"At Pirates he has a good chance of playing. I don't even rate that goalkeeper from France [Joris Delle]. Nami ngiyamuhalela [I also wish to take shots against him].
"I used to do that at Pirates when new goalkeepers arrive in the team. I remember that goalkeeper from DRC [Makweni Mayala].
"I asked the guys to give me him for a free-kick. Ngamneka [I beat him on the free-kick]. I told the guys that he was not a good goalkeeper.
"At moment Pirates are struggling with goalkeepers and Ofori could make a good signing."
Goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands is currently the number one goalkeeper at Pirates but his contract with the Soweto giants is due to expire at the end of this season.
