Contacted for comment, Leshabane told KickOff.com: “Is it possible to phone me on Friday so that I can confirm and give you the formal confirmation?

“You know how these things work, you need to wait for the final approval of the PSL because I’ve made my interest [known] in purchasing the club, and everything is in the hands of the PSL now,” added Leshaba, who already owns local ABC Motsepe League side Mangaung United.

Phunya Sele Sele started the season with a 2-0 win over Chippa United at Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday.
