SAFA to take action after Moloi incident

The game against Barcelona, which ended in a goalless draw, was heavily marred after the opposition team bench reportedly attacked Moloi, who has since laid charges of assault at a Pretoria police station against one of the opposition officials after the alleged stabbing.

SAFA Tshwane regional officer Neelan Chetty has condemned the incident and said the region’s governing body were waiting for referee's report before taking further action.

"We condemn such incidents in football. The SAFA head office has called and asked us to speed up the investigation on the matter,” Chetty tells

"We have advised both clubs and the referee to write a report on what happened on the day. I can guarantee that we will have no remorse towards the guilty individuals,” he adds.
