Salazar arrived in the country at the beginning of the month and has shown Eagles coach Kosta Papic that he is worthy of being signed by the ambitious club.
“He has basically signed the contract,” Papic tells KickOff.com.
“We are now in the process of getting his work permit so that we can then proceed and register him afterwards.”
The 25-year-old has played all of his football in Colombia and is actually very close to Mamelodi Sundowns forward Leonardo Castro – who he was teammates with at Millonarios.
Both Salazar and Castro are products of the Millonarios youth system.
Salazar’s move to Eagles was facilitated by his agent Joao Betancourt.
