Mahamutsa joins Nomandela at new club

Former Orlando Pirates defender Rooi Mahamutsa has resurfaced at Baberwa FC in the ABC Motsepe League.

Mahamutsa was recently linked with a move to both Black Leopards and Polokwane City in Limpopo before he resurfaced in Johannesburg this week, where he was spotted training with the ABC Motsepe League side.

The former Bucs defender, 38, is set to join other former PSL players including Thapelo Tshilo, David Zulu and Lerato Chabangu at Baberwa.

According to a source close to the team, the club has also signed 30-year-old former Mamelodi Sundowns winger Luyolo Nomandela.

"Rooi is training with the club. He started this week with a view to signing," the source tells KickOff.com.

"The club has also signed Luyolo Nomandela."
