Ramagalela shared the PSL Golden Boot with Percy Tau last season as his 11 goals helped his club escape relegation.
The former Mamelodi Sundown hitman is often deployed down the right wing, and says he has no problem being moved from the centre-forward role to accommodate the likes of new signing Mohammed Anas.
The two combined effectively in City's 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows in midweek, as the bustling Anas provided the assist for Ramagalela's goal at Princess Magogo Stadium.
"If you can check, we are very thin, so I'm playing more on the right," Ramagalela explained.
"Actually I'm playing as a right wing. The coaches want to make sure when we attack we have numbers. When we defend also we have people to track back and make sure we defend as a team."
'RamaG' added that he is not focusing on winning individual accolades.
"For me there's no target, my target is Polokwane City," he said.
"You know without Polokwane City we don't have Ramagalela. So for me if I can save Polokwane City that means my job is safe."
Jozef Vukusic's side, who are 12th on the log with four points from four league matches, will resume their campaign against Free State Stars on September 15 after the FIFA break.
