Richards Bay FC chairman Jomo Biyela has revealed his club's plans in the transfer market ahead of their maiden campaign in the DStv Premiership next season.
Since they are new in the DStv Premiership, The Natal Richboyz were expected to chase almost every good experienced player to bolster their side.
However, the 2021/22 GladAfrica Championship champions have been going about quietly with their business.
"The plan is coming together, for now, us still putting things together," Biyela tells KickOff.
"We want to announce once and not bit by bit.
"But we do have a plan, we are busy negotiating with some players behind the scenes.
"And once everything is finalized then we will let you know, but at this stage, I can't even reveal who they are.
"By doing that I'd be killing our plan.
"In our club, it's not about a club a player is coming from, even if he is playing in the ABC Motsepe League or the bush, as long he is a player fitting our profile we will go and get him.
"At the moment we are not looking at signing a player based on being from a PSL club.
"We are looking for players who can be able to fit into our culture, we are looking at players, not status."
Asked if he was keeping Pitso Dladla as a head coach for next season, Biyela said,
"Because we've announced nothing about anyone leaving, what I know is the current coach is still in charge.
"He is part of the plan that is being drafted at the club at the moment."
