Highlands Park midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane welcomes the arrival of Musa Nyatama from Orlando Pirates as it will only help make the team stronger.
Nyatama, who was confirmed as a Highlands Park player on a five-month deal with an option to renew on Wednesday, was released by the Buccaneers recently after their signing of Stellenbosch midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu.
'Yeye' says instead of viewing his new teammate as competition, he sees him as another quality player who will strengthen the team.
"I see him as a good acquisition for the club, a person that will help the team to get to another level and contribute to the club," Letsholonyane tells KickOff.com.
"It does help [having experienced players]. Look, Highlands Park is a... not small team obviously in terms of history, it has been there for long time. But obviously in terms of playing and staying in the PSL it hasn't been that long you see.
"So there's lot of youngsters who are willing to work hard and learn, which obviously needs a balance between the youngsters and the experience that we are.
"We all know that he is a good player. He is a good person obviously, and from what we've seen previously in all the years he has been playing in different teams, he contributed immensely.
"He is a good ball player, he's a good reader of the game, so I think it's a good acquisition for Highlands Park. He's an experienced campaigner that will rub off on other players at Highlands Park.
"So I think for me, it's one good acquisition for the club that will help basically to take the club or the team to another level."
