Yeye’s current deal runs up at the end of June, and he has been in discussions with the club over an extension that now merely needs to be finalised.
KickOff.com has been informed that there have never been any doubts that Letsholonyane will leave the club, despite all the usual transfer speculation that springs up when a player enters the last six months of his contract.
An agreement is said to be already in place for a new contract, which now needs the signature of his representative before it is officially activated.
Yeye – who turns 34 in June – is in his eighth season with Amakhosi and has remained just as useful and effective a central midfielder as he was when he arrived from Jomo Cosmos in 2008.
He has also played regularly through most of his time at the club.
