Former Kaizer Chiefs striker David Radebe says it will take time for the club's top striker Samir Nurkovic to find form.
In his first season with the Glamour Boys, the Serbian netted 13 times in his 25 appearances.
The following season the Serbian netted just four times, and this campaign is yet to find the back of the net after returning from a long term injury.
Radebe who spent five seasons in Naturena and in the process helped the club win two Premier Soccer League titles, says being played out of position by Stuart Baxter is not helping Nurkovic.
"Remember he has been coached by three coaches at Chiefs already and the current one is not playing him in the right position," Radebe tells KickOff.
"So I will never blame a player because of a coach's doing, and maybe it's still going to take some time due to being played in a wrong position.
"I think the biggest problem at Chiefs is the coach because as a coach you must be able to see a player's strength, So why is Baxter not using training sessions to identify Nurkovic's strength?
"I blame the coach for Nurkovic's struggles, I really don't know what is happening at Chiefs honestly.
"How can Nurkovic rediscover the form that made him who he is today if he is not played to his strength?
We really can't blame Nurkovic for Baxter's failure."
