United have also been fined R10 000 (plus R20 000 suspended) for the incident which occured after Lentjies converted a penalty on 14 March. 

The PSL released a statement on Tuesday, which read: "The player and club were charged pursuant to an incident which took place on 14 March 2014 during a match against AmaZulu FC when the player, after converting a penalty, exhibited a slogan on an undergarment worn by him. 

"Lentjies and Maritzburg United FC were each fined R10 000.00. In addition, the club was fined an additional R20 000.00 which amount was suspended until the commencement of the 2014/2015 season on condition that it furnishes the League with proof of the fact that all personnel associated with the club have undergone a workshop to updated them on the rules applicable to their participation in football. 

"Lentjies was also ordered to officially apologise to the League and both parties were ordered to pay the costs jointly and severally."
