Earlier today, Chiefs said on Twitter: "Date Change: Please note that the Kaizer Chiefs vs. Cape Town City match scheduled for Wednesday 21 February 2018 at FNB Stadium has been moved to Tuesday 20 February 2018 at the same venue. Kick-off is still at 19h30."
However, confusion surfaced when City responded with a tweet that said: “This is impossible. Cape Town City is playing a CAF home leg fixture on February.”
PSL broadcasting and media manager Luxolo September confirms a date is yet to be confirmed for the Absa Premiership match.
“CAF recently released the new dates for their competitions and that necessitated that change because all the clubs playing in the CAF Champions League are affected,” September explained to KickOff.com.
“The PSL has been trying to work on this issue of fixtures with broadcasters and the stakeholders involved. We will release the new dates for the matches in due course. This affects everyone.”
