KickOff.com has learnt that Polokwane City could relocate to Gauteng next season.
City, Black Leopards and Baroka FC are currently the only three teams from Limpopo campaigning in the PSL.
The club has already notified their players and staff about their intention to relocate the team to Gauteng.
"The players, technical team and rest of the staff members have been notified to put notice where they are renting for accommodation," a source close to Polokwane City tells KickOff.com.
"The club will also move their office to Gauteng. There is nothing changing, the club will remain the same but is only relocating to another province."
Polokwane are set to utilise facilities in Germiston for both their training and home games in Gauteng.
"I dont know anything [about the team relocating]," says assistant coach and general manager Bernard Molekwa.
Should the departure of Rise and Shine from Limpopo go forward, it will be offset by the arrival of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila, who have bought the status of Bidvest Wits.
TTM have already shown their intention of competing in top-flight football after signing former Orlando Pirates midfielders Oupa Manyisa and Joseph Molangoane.
Manyisa and Molangoane have both penned two-year deals after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
