Plat Stars to assess Bridget

KickOff.com previously reported that the ex-Milano United man was on the shopping lists of a few PSL clubs, who are looking to beef up their squads ahead of the start of the 2014/15 season.

Motha’s representative, Kabelo Sibiya, explains that the midfielder is now set to train with Dikwena, after the club expressed an interest in having a closer look at him.

“Initially, the player was supposed to go to Polokwane City but Platinum Stars invited him for trials so he would like to try out there first,” Sibiya tells KickOff.com.

“He will be training with Platinum Stars from around 5 July and we are confident he will make the grade,” adds Sibiya.

Polokwane City coach Boebie Solomons hinted that his club has now dropped out of the race to sign the player.

“I am not aware that we are after the player,” Solomons tells this website.

Motha – who helped Milano reach the NFD playoffs – is weighing his options after his contract with the club ran out.

The player represented Bafana Bafana in the Cosafa Cup, while he also featured for the country at Under-23 level. He has also played for Senica FC of Slovakia in the Europa Cup.
