Pitso Mosimane may have gone too far again after receiving correspondence from the PSL regarding his outspokenness on the topic of referees.
Mosimane made all the headlines last week, over the weekend, and continues this week to suggest Kaizer Chiefs have been receiving favourable decisions by PSL match officials.
"The Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor has written to Mamelodi Sundowns and head coach Mr Pitso Mosimane in relation to the comments attributed to him on match officials last week," reads a PSL statement.
"The League prosecutor has given Mr Mosimane five days to respond to the letters sent to him to either deny or admit the comments attributed to him in the media."
It is not the first time Mosimane has had to explain his words to the PSL. The Sundowns coach has also been vocal about Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp's past similar experiences, adding some irony to the latest events.
