The Brazilians have a whole host of players returning to Chloorkop following loan spells at other clubs, and a few of them have already indicated that the would like a permanent move.

‘Jingles’ says they are welcome to do so, providing a potential suitor comes up with the correct price and that he won’t be needed by Sundowns.

“The only on-loan player who will come back is someone who is really better than what we have,” Mosimane says in the latest edition of KICK OFF Magazine (issue 446).

“It is not good to hold onto players who should be playing elsewhere, so we must give them a chance to go and play elsewhere to fulfill their careers.

“But you must understands that we are not a charity to give away our players! We bought them, so if you want them you can buy them from us or loan them. No problem.”

Mosimane also rejected the general perception that Sundowns have a habit of destroying players’ careers.

“We don’t want to kill players’ careers because some of the boys deserve to play. If you have done well and you are better than what we have, then we will bring you back.”
