Pitso: Is Chiefs the only team that won?

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes that his team is two points behind their target in the defence of their Absa Premiership title.

Sundowns dropped two points away from home after playing to a goalless draw with Baroka in Polokwane on Wednesday night.

The Brazilians remain second on the log, seven points behind Kaizer Chiefs with a game in hand, and are set to travel to Durban for their next league match against Golden Arrows this weekend.

Sundowns will travel to play in three different provinces in the space of seven days.

Despite the result against Bakgaga, Mosimane seemed unbothered by Chiefs' win over Chippa United that stretched their lead at the top.

"But today it's Sundowns vs Baroka. Why bring in Kaizer Chiefs? Is it the only team that won?" said Mosimane when asked for his reaction towards Amakhosi's 2-0 win.

"Good luck to them. We are just two points behind our programme. We have to follow the process, the outcome will sort itself out. Congratulations to them."

Sundowns looked sluggish at Peter Mokaba Stadium and this could be attributed to the 120 minutes they played against Chippa in the Telkom Knockout and the long distance from Port Elizabeth to Polokwane.

"I can say two points dropped but when you look at the performance [against Baroka] we didn't deserve the three points," he admitted.

"We didn't create easy chances that could win [the match]."
