Pirates players granted leave

Premiership

Coach Vladimir Vermezovic has made training non-mandatory as he understands that everyone grieves differently. However, the technical staff has made the option to train available to those who prefer to be on the football pitch.

This will not majorly affect preparations as the PSL has granted the club's request to postpone the Soweto Derby, which was scheduled to take place this weekend.

The players will all meet with a counsellor today, in order to help deal with the tragic loss of their teammate and friend.

Bucs' next fixture will be next week Tuesday against cup rivals Platinum Stars, which will see them travelling to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium for the Absa Premiership clash.
