With the encounter expected to hold increased stakes in as far as the race for the coveted domestic prize is concerned, Pirates will be going to battle minus the services of winger Vincent Pule, who has been ruled out through suspension.

Furthermore, injuries and personal commitments have ruled out the likes of midfield duo Xola Mlambo and Linda Mntambo, while goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo will have to wait a while longer for his first team debut for the club.

“Xola Mlambo is out [through injury]; Brilliant Khuzwayo is still struggling with his knee and Linda Mntambo has just come back from a family obligation and started training today with the team,” confirmed assistant coach Fadlu Davids on Wednesday. “Other than that, everyone else is fine and available.”

Kick-off of the encounter has been scheduled for 19h30.
