However, Tinkler opted to start Lehlohonolo Majoro ahead of the Zimbabwean at Orlando Stadium.

"I think it's more man-management for me. It's not a secret Thamsanqa Gabuza's confidence is low at the moment,” Tinkler says.

"Also, the type of pressure he has been put under. Majoro hasn’t really had a lot of game-time, particularly from the starting lineup.

“I felt it was important to give him that opportunity against Celtic. But at the same time, I was very happy with the contribution that Ndoro gave us last time. I sat down with him and explained my reasons behind it.

"He understood and he came on and also did a job. I thought Majoro, again his mobility was a lot better. He worked hard, he went in behind a couple of times. There was once he was given offside and I actually don't think he was."

Tinkler adds that he has a selection headache when it comes to his three strikers.

“Probably it would have been a mistake if I had taken Majoro out and put Ndoro in because that would have knocked his confidence and self belief.

“I have a headache now having three strikers working hard. The current formation we are playing only allows one of them to start.”
