Speaking on the back of an impressive display against Kaizer Chiefs at the weekend, Mzwakali said: “For me, first of all I haven’t been getting game-time, so when the coach told me I was going to start against Aces (Mpumalanga Black Aces) in the Telkom Knockout I was shocked.
“I didn’t think I would start so soon but that is part of the game.
“I am happy with how I have done since then but I can still feel that fitness wise, I am not there yet and so I still struggle with certain things during the game.
“But all I need to do is to keep pushing and keep working hard than I will come right.”
Mzwakali will be hoping to make his third Absa Premiership appearance tonight when Ajax takes on Platinum Stars at Cape Town Stadium.
