Musa: Downs owe Bucs big time

Pirates were beaten 3-1 at home by Sundowns at Orlando Stadium on November 1, with Brazilians skipper Hlompho Kekana notably embarrassing goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands with a screamer struck from inside his own half.

Nyatama and company will seek to exact revenge against the Absa Premiership leaders when they collide at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday (15h30).

“It's going be a difficult game against Mamelodi Sundowns and we know that very well,” said Nyatama, who scored in man-of-the-match display in a 3-1 win over Baroka in Soweto last weekend.

“They will come out [guns] blazing. We will also do our best to make a point that we collect maximum points away. We know they beat us in the first round, they owe us big time. So we have to win, it’s a must for us.”

Pirates will be without suspended skipper Thabo Matlaba when they take on a star-studded Masandawana. Nyatama, however, backs Milutin Sredojevic's squad to show what they are about in Tshwane.

“We also got quality on our side. We are prepared for a battle on the field. We are prepared to go the extra mile and to work very hard. We shall try to give a 150 percent performance and will make a point to win.”

The Buccaneers trail Pitso Mosimane's side by eight points after 16 games.
