Borman hopes to build on debut

Borman, an October signing from SuperSport United, played the full 90 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Orlando Pirates in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout.

"These are the moments you are waiting for as a player and you have got to take every opportunity you are given to play with both hands," Borman told his club's official website.

"It was more physical as well and the tempo was high, but I really enjoyed it. But, it’s only the first game and now I’ve got that first 90 minutes in my pocket and I just want to go on from there.

"I found it very hard at first to cope with the pace of the game, but that’s something that I will have to get used to. It’s a big difference and a big change for me if you consider that I was not really playing regularly at SuperSport United.

"My plan is to continue working hard at training and make sure that I play as many matches as possible and help the team achieve its objectives, which is to improve Ace’s league position."

The 28-year-old left-back was a teammate of Henry's at Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
