"AC Milan announce that they have today terminated the contract of Kaka by mutual agreement," a club statement read.

The 32-year-old, who reunited with Milan last summer after four years at Real Madrid, is poised to return to Sao Paulo on a six-month deal, according to the Brazilian side's vice-president Ataide Gil Guerreiro. Kaka will then head to the United States to compete in the MLS.
