Supersport United CEO Stan Matthews has responded to the growing reports linking his club with 36-year-old veteran midfielder Hlompho Kekana.
Kekana is currently available as a free agent and can join a club of his choice after recently being deemed surplus to requirements by former club Mamelodi Sundowns.
Matthews has now though poured cold water on reports that the player is in talks to join his former club.

"No it is not true and we will not be signing him," Matthews responded to Kickoff.com.
In 2020 Matsatsantsa was believed to be close to snatching Kekana from their Tshwane rivals before deciding to renew his contract at Sundowns.
AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu also recently disclosed to this publication that his club would not be signing the former Bafana Bafana international.
It now remains to be seen what the next step is for the veteran midfielder who ruled out any plans to retire from the game.
