Marumo Gallants unveil latest signings

Marumo Gallants have completed the signing of midfielder Sam Nkomo from ABC Motsepe side FC Spartans.

Nkomo has signed a three-year deal with Gallants after impressing during a trial period at the DStv Premiership side.

The 24-year-old midfielder was unveiled alongside Koketso More and Lesiba Nku during a club event held in Sandton, on Wednesday.

Spartans co-director, Machine Motloung confirmed that his team have given the green light for Nkomo's transfer to Gallants.

"When we started this project with my partner Themba Diba in September last year, our ambition was to create opportunities for these youngsters," Motloung tells KickOff.

"We have a long-term ambition to uplift the community and give these youngsters a platform to showcase their talent.

"Nkomo has shown the other youngsters in the team that anything is possible.

"We would like to thank Marumo Gallants for believing in our project.

"He [Nkomo] is now a role model to many youngsters in our province [Free State]," Motloung added.
