The Team of Choice will now face Arrows in the league at Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday before reviving hostilities in KwaMashu in the Nedbank Cup on March 12.

"It is encouraging and it definitely lifts the mood. To get our first win in 2017 was important for the players, for the team, for the coach as well to get the monkey off our backs," says Fransman.

"So, for us we have to continue and not to rest on our laurels. Everyone is chasing the same goal and that is mid-table at the moment.

"We can't just take this for granted to stay. We've got to work hard and get the right results."

Fransman expects the upcoming contests to differ.

"Two games are not going to be the same. Although we are playing the same team back-to-back, they are not going to be the same.

"I had this situation before and we'll take it one game at a time. All you can do is to prepare your team. That is what we have to do and focus on doing the right things and the result will take care of itself."
