Pirates defender finds new home

Maritzburg United have agreed a deal to sign Orlando Pirates defender Tebogo Tlolane.

This website reported on Wednesday that the former Chippa United defender was on the verge of signing for the the Team of Choice on loan.

KickOff.com can now reveal that both parties have agreed on a deal after positive negotiations.

"Yeah, it's 100 percent a done deal," a close source confirms.

Maritzburg chairman Farook Kadodia could not be reached for comment, but it is understood the KwaZulu-Natal club only needs the finishing touches to the paperwork for the deal to be rubber-stamped.

The 25-year-old has struggled for game-time since joining Pirates from the Chilli Boys during the off-season but will strengthen Eric Tinkler's defensive options.
