Kadodia brushes off Ndlovu antics

However, Kadodia insists the matter is in the past and Ndlovu, who will join Sundowns at the end of the season, is committed to helping Maritzburg survive relegation under new coach Eric Tinkler.

"Yes, Ndlovu did miss some training sessions under Ertugral," Kadodia said.

"I really don't want to focus on the negatives, it is in the past now."

He added: "Ndlovu is a homeboy [who is] willing to [help] make this club survive in the PSL. He's focused and willing to fight for the club."

Kadodia says it's no secret as to Tinkler's mandate at Maritzburg and has called on their fans in KwaZulu-Natal to rally around the side.

"The whole world knows. We need to survive in the PSL. We believe he will do that," Kadodia said.

"We appeal to our supporters, especially the whole of KZN to rally behind the new coach Eric Tinkler and the team.

"We need their positive energy around us to lift our spirit."

Tinkler will start his reign at the bottom-placed Team of Choice with a trip to log leaders Bidvest Wits on Friday (20h00).
