PSL coach: Don't underestimate TTM

Premiership

Unbeaten Golden Arrows coach Mandla Ncikazi has warned against complacency ahead of his side's home game against struggling Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Saturday.

Sixth-placed Abafana Bes'thende have started the season well and are facing a TTM side that have been facing a lot of challenges off the field. They are also coming from a 3-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.

But Ncikazi feels undermining TTM will be a huge mistake especially as they still have many quality players who can do damage against them.

"We are facing a very difficult opponent on Saturday, TTM have so many quality players," Ncikazi warned.

"Even the loss against Orlando Pirates was because of individual defensive mistakes, not bad play from their match.

"The biggest mistake we can make as a team is to take them for granted because of the loss. Adversity can be a unifying factor and strength in team sport.

"We have to be at our best to get points. We are preparing for a tough match and we are optimistic that we will win."

Kick-off at Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday is at 15h00.
