Mamelodi Sundowns will receive a boost to their playing personnel before Christmas Day.

Centre-back Ricardo Nascimento is currently at home in Brazil recovering after undergoing surgery on his hamstring injury.

The Brazilian defender is expected to return in December to start training full-time again at Chloorkop.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has confirmed the return of Nascimento before the end of the year.

"He is coming okay. I have seen him training in Brazil," Mosimane reveals to KickOff.com.

"We expect him to be back at the club in the second week of December."
