Murray bagged a brace against the MTN8 champions at Cape Town Stadium, taking his tally of goals since joining the Clever Boys to three in seven appearances.

He’s growing in confidence and will no doubt be a problem to handle come match day against the Tshwane giants at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday (15h30).

“I have never seen a redhead boy dribbling people like that hey,” Mosimane said in reference to the way Murray was dribbling his way past City defenders.

He added: “I don’t know if it’s a once off, but we need to be careful of a person who does that.”

Having had some interesting battles with Wits coach Gavin Hunt in the past, Mosimane knows that the Clever Boys will not give them a lot of room to do as they please.

“But they look organised. You know Gavin, he does not give it away. Very professional, organised, very good coach. When he wants the result, he’ll take it. They will be on top of us, but we will see. It’s just unfortunate we dropped two points [against Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday], but it’s part of life.”

Hosts Sundowns are in seventh place on the standings, while Wits sit at the top, six points ahead of the defending league champions.
